Deals & Pipeline
Track sales opportunities through customizable pipeline stages with drag-and-drop management, party slots, risk scoring, and configuration-driven quotes.
Deals represent your sales opportunities. Each deal moves through customizable pipeline stages from initial interest to close. RevOrbit gives you both a list view and a visual Kanban pipeline board, plus a rich Deal Workspace modal that brings together qualifying interviews, product configurations, quotes, contracts, communication, and activity.
Deals List
The Deals list shows all your opportunities in a sortable, searchable, filterable table. The list defaults to 100 rows per page so most users see all their deals on one page.
Quick Filter Chips
Single-tap shortcuts that combine common filters.
Visual Cues on the List
RevOrbit colors and badges fields so you can scan a long list quickly.
Pipeline Board
The Pipeline view displays your deals as a Kanban board with one column per stage. Each column shows the total value, the weighted (probability-adjusted) value, and the deal count for that stage.
Creating a Deal
New deals can be created from the Deals list, the command palette (Cmd+K → New Deal), or from within a Contact, Company, or Lead.
Deal Probability
Each deal has a probability (0–100%) representing its likelihood to close. New deals inherit the probability of the stage they start in (configured in Settings → Pipeline Stages); you can override it on the deal itself. Probability auto-snaps to 100% when a deal moves to Won and 0% when it moves to Lost. Probability feeds the weighted-value calculation in pipeline columns and on the dashboard.
Deal Workspace
A full-featured modal with tabs covering every aspect of a deal. Tabs are visually grouped so the workflow reads left-to-right: Interviews › Configurations › Quotes › Contracts.
Party Slots (Ship To / Bill To / Reseller)
Each of the three parties on a deal is shown as a compact card with company + contact. Each card has four actions:
Deal Risk Scoring
RevOrbit automatically calculates a risk score for each deal based on 10 factors. Each factor adds a weighted point value; the total determines the risk level.
Inline Edits
Update a deal without opening the workspace.
Frequently Asked Questions
Open the deal and pick a new stage from the dropdown on the Info tab, or drag the deal card on the Pipeline board.
Yes — go to Settings → Pipeline Stages to add, rename, recolor, reorder, or delete stages, set per-stage default probabilities, and mark stages as Won or Lost.
You'll be prompted to enter a closed date. Probability snaps to 100% (Won) or 0% (Lost). The deal leaves the active pipeline and counts toward Won Value or lost metrics on the Dashboard. Lost auto-archives any linked contracts as Archived – Not Executed.
No — deletions are permanent. Move unwanted deals to a Lost stage instead of deleting them.
