Notifications keep you informed about important events across your CRM. A bell icon in the top navigation bar shows your unread notification count, and daily email reminders help ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Notification Bell

The bell icon in the top navigation bar displays a badge with your unread notification count. Click the bell to open the notification panel and see your latest alerts.

Notification Types

RevOrbit sends notifications for key events that need your attention:

1
Deal closing soon — a deal's expected close date is approaching
2
Deal stage changed — a deal you own moved to a new stage (with old → new values shown)
3
Deal reassigned — both the previous and the new owner are notified
4
Deal value/details changed — material edits to a deal you own
5
Task due / Task overdue — a task assigned to you is due soon or past due
6
New lead assigned — a new lead has been assigned to you
7
Interview submitted — a prospect submitted a qualifying interview you sent
8
Lead captured — a prospect submitted via your personal lead-capture URL (/l/{slug}?r={user_id})

Viewing and Managing Notifications

Interact with your notifications to stay organized.

1
Click the bell icon in the top navigation to open the notification panel
2
Click any notification to navigate directly to the relevant record (deal, task, or lead)
3
Click Mark as read on individual notifications to dismiss them
4
Click Mark all as read to clear all unread notifications at once

Notification Popups

Important notifications also surface as toast popups in the corner of the screen so you don't miss them. When 3 or more popups stack, a Dismiss all button appears to clear them in one click. Popups are capped at 24 hours of backlog so old notifications don't avalanche on first login.

Daily Email Reminders

Every morning at 8 AM, RevOrbit sends an email summary of your upcoming tasks and deals that need attention. Reminder emails (and other system notifications) come from noreply@revorbit.com via Resend — no per-org SMTP setup needed.

Check your notifications regularly to stay on top of approaching deadlines. The bell badge count updates automatically so you can see at a glance whether new alerts have arrived.
Notifications are checked every 15 minutes via a server cron job. Daily email reminders are sent at 8 AM. There may be a short delay between an event occurring and the notification appearing.

Frequently Asked Questions

The system checks every 15 minutes.

Yes. Go to Profile → Notifications, where every event type has its own Email and Pop-Up switches. You can also limit emails to your working hours — see \"Quiet hours\" above.

Recurring alerts — overdue tasks, overdue deals, deals with no activity — now keep a single entry that updates in place instead of creating a new one each day. Once you mark it read it stays read, and it only comes back if the situation gets meaningfully worse. For a live list of everything still outstanding, use the Action Centre.

The bell icon is in the top navigation bar, to the left of your profile menu. A red badge shows the number of unread notifications.

Clicking a notification navigates you directly to the relevant record — for example, the deal detail page or the task detail view.

Quiet hours

Under Profile → Notifications you can limit notification emails to your working hours. By default that's Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00, in your own timezone.

1
Anything raised outside that window is held rather than emailed.
2
When the window reopens, everything held arrives as one digest email instead of a stream of separate messages.
3
In-app notifications are never delayed — the bell and the Action Centre update immediately, whatever the hour.
Messages where a prospect is waiting on you always send immediately, regardless of the hour: completed interviews, leads captured from a public form, and replies to follow-up sequences. Those decay quickly in value, so they are deliberately exempt.
